Dr. Sheeba Pakkan is a bibliometrician, professor, and research leader with 28+ years of experience, specializing in research metrics, policy, and SDG alignment. She has trained over 5,000 researchers, led major funded projects, and serves in key advisory roles including NAAC Auditor and EBSCO Academic Advisor.

Adeline is currently serving as an Information Resources Manager at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. Holds a key leadership position responsible for managing and overseeing the full spectrum of library operations and services. With more than 20 years of experience in the library and information profession, I am passionate about connecting people with information, enhancing access to resources, and driving innovation in academic libraries.
As a strong advocate for library innovation and future-focused service delivery, I am committed to creating agile, technology-enabled library environments that respond to the rapidly evolving higher education landscape. By leveraging emerging technologies and digital solutions, I have helped transform traditional library services into dynamic and interactive experiences that encourage greater engagement and foster meaningful connections between users and library resources. My professional interests include library technologies, information literacy, digital transformation, and strategic planning for the future of academic libraries.

Chris Chan is the University Librarian at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He has served HKBU Library for over fifteen years in roles increasing responsibility, including Head of Information Services and Deputy University Librarian. In his current position he is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to further enhance the services and collections of HKBU Library, and ensuring they are aligned with the University’s mission and vision.
