OpenAthens Listserv

Listservs help people working in the same field discuss, debate, collaborate, and communicate with peers, experts, and partners using mailing lists. We use JiscMail technology. Jisc mailing lists are themed around taught subjects, research areas, special interest groups and collaborative project activities.

OpenAthens JiscMail list

We have our own JiscMail Listserv (openathens@jiscmail.ac.uk) dedicated to all things OpenAthens! Join our global community of customers to share best practice, expertise, ideas, and information, ask questions, gain knowledge, explore opportunities and collaborate with each other!

How does it work?

A Listserv mailing list has a unique email address, so when an email is sent to the mailing list email address it’s distributed to all the subscribers, who receive a copy of the message in their email inbox.

How to subscribe

Visit the OpenAthens JiscMail page and register. After registering, you’ll receive an email with a confirmation link to click.

For more information on how to register, please read the JiscMail instructions.

Reminders for any JiscMail/Listserv newbies:

  1. Each email is received by every participant on the mailing list
  2. Hyperlinks to external resources are supported
