Research Integrity in the Era of Generative AI: Challenges, Responsibilities, and Institutional Strategies
The session would explore the evolving landscape of research integrity in the age of AI-assisted scholarship, including opportunities and challenges associated with generative AI, responsible use of AI in research workflows, publication ethics, research assessment, responsible metrics, transparency, and the critical role of libraries and research-support ecosystems in fostering trustworthy and ethical research practices.
The discussion would also highlight institutional strategies for building a culture of integrity, strengthening governance frameworks, and supporting researchers in navigating the opportunities and risks presented by emerging AI technologies.
