How many publishers does OpenAthens support? What if we subscribe to a resource that does not support OpenAthens?

Customers are encouraged to check our OpenAthens compatible provider list to find out which publishers we can or can not support.

Alongside OpenAthens federated access, we also support customers logging into resources with UK and Incommon federation access, IP authentication, and 1-1 SAML metadata exchange.

When starting an implementation, a member of our Technical Solutions team will be able to advise of any publishers that we do not currently provide access to and will get in contact with them to find out how best to proceed.
