Adam has been working with OpenAthens for over 15 years and has a wealth of knowledge across many products and services within the library, federation and general identity & access management communities. His main focus is on providing technical support, advice, and guidance to colleagues and throughout the community. Day to day, Adam consults with OpenAthens product and development teams to provide advice and help refine requirements for product and service improvements. He also provides support to new and existing customers by gathering requirements, designing, and then implementing tailored solutions as well as guidance around configuring third-party products such as Azure/Entra, G-Suite and Okta. Adam represents the OpenAthens team and the wider industry at national and international events and community groups and helps to deliver training to customers and international partners. All with a keen focus on developing and improving standards and user experience.

Emma Wilson-Shaw has 20+ years of experience in academic libraries, including higher education, further education, archives, and special collections. Currently, she's the e-Resource Manager for OpenAthens, where she works with libraries, publishers, and service providers to ensure a smooth user journey to content. Emma's expertise includes e-resources, systems, authentication, web editing, enquiry service management, and information skills training.

Jon has worked in publishing for 20 years with a variety of commercial and business publishers. His career has spanned the transformation from print to digital as companies have reacted and adapted to new technology. But his belief remains that the fundamental purpose of a publisher hasn’t changed. Accessibility to accurate, intelligent, insightful information has never been more important. Trust is paramount and Jon is delighted that OpenAthens participates in establishing that trust between the publishers, libraries and the end users.

Kieran is a Business Development Managers working with publishers, vendors and content providers worldwide. He has gained a keen understanding of the challenges custoemrs face in providing access to their clinets. Kieran has worked with the publsihing industry for 7 yeas, helping some og the world's lergest publishers improve their authentication services. He has particular interest in UX, new technologies and identity and access management more generally. Technology can be complicated, and Kieran takes pride in this ability to make things simple for his clients.

Neil is Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for Jisc’s trust and identify services which includes responsibility for the technical teams developing and supporting OpenAthens. Starting as a software developer he has worked in a number of IT management roles for both commercial and non-commercial organisations. "I love delivering products that are genuinely useful and help in some small way to improve the lives of the people that use them. I am a strong believer in modern practices like Agile and DevOps that enable us to develop and run complex software in an increasingly challenging environment.”

Phil has been part of the OpenAthens team for many years, starting initially on the Service Desk and then moving into sales and account management. Phil now manages the relationships with our largest library and publisher customers, mostly in the UK and US. His depth of experience has helped him develop an excellent understanding of how the services works for our customers.
